I also have additional background in teaching from previous experience with adult education as well. Since it has been prior to the PhD yet informs the committee of my background and competencies, I'll list the experiences in bullet points below.

• Designed and delivered "Intro to computer" courses for community elders in bush AK sites
• Delivered presentations to special education staff, general educators, early interventionists, paraprofessionals, administration, sign language interpreters, health care professionals and community members. Often trained them on Deaf and Hard of Hearing topics such as using otoacoustic emission screeners, tympanometry, learning and using American Sign Language, teaching reading and writing, and language development.
